Learn Together - Grow Together

Learn Together - Grow Together is for parents and their children ages 3-6. Families meet once a week for 30 weeks to learn about their children's early learning and how to support literacy development, success in school and lifelong learning. The sessions offer some adult only instruction and lots or parent-child together time for fun learning activities.

The Program:

  • Parents and children spend 2.5 hours together each week
  • Families learn how to be ready for school
  • Parents learn ways to help their children in the early stages of reading and writing
  • Parents learn new ways of using stories, rhymes, songs and books
  • Parents practice with their children what they have learned about supporting their children's language and literacy development

The Benefits:

  • Assists parents in their ability to help support their children's learning development
  • Increases children's language and early literacy skills

  • Monday morning, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. October 17 - June 18
