Financial Literacy

The Financial Literacy courses are for any adults 18 or over who would like to improve their basic math and money management skills.

The program provides:

  • 8 week courses at four different levels:
    - beginner
    - intermediate
    - advanced, and
    - for English Language Learners
  • a library of learning resources
  • small classes (up to 15 people)
  • opportunities to meet others interested in the same topic

The Benefits:

  • Students gain skills and confidence in handling money
  • Students improve their basic math skills
  • Students learn vocabulary and strategies for understanding financial information
  • Students improve their abilities to manage money
  • Students gain knowledge of financial dangers and risks
