The Prairie COW Bus ventured to the far reaches of southeast Alberta to visit the families in Manyberries. We spent a nice morning in the sunshine with teachers, parents, and their little ones, and invited the school kids to spend their morning recess listening to a story on the Bus. What a great way to kick off the week!
On Tuesday, the Bus was parked at the Library in Foremost. Families from the town and surrounding area came for story time on the bus, and we passed on some family literacy tips to the parents to try at home with their children. The Kindergarten class walked over to the Bus in the afternoon, and it was great to read stories and explore a variety of activities together.
Several families came to the Bow Island Library to check out the Bus on Wednesday, and parents and children played the morning away.
The Legacy Library was presented to the Library and representatives attended the presentation from the Forty Mile Regional FCSS and the literacy community.
