Red Deer County

The C.O.W. Bus had a very busy week in Red Deer County.

We parked at Spruce View School on Monday afternoon. Several children and their parents stayed to enjoy a hot-dog dinner and cake after they visited the bus.

Tuesday morning found us at the library in Bowden, and the morning was filled with local preschool children and their parents. We drove to Penhold in the afternoon, and families came to the library in a steady stream to see the bus and to enjoy the carnival in the evening.

We parked for a day at the library in Sylvan Lake and were bustling with families as soon as we opened our doors. In the evening, we drove through the streets of Benalto and headed up a convoy to the fairgrounds, where many families took advantage of the chance to play together on the bus.

Innisfail was our base on Thursday, and parents had many opportunities to chat with each other and find some new ideas while their little ones played on the bus.

On our last day, we spent the morning in Elnora and the afternoon in Delburne. Many families came aboard to interact and have fun!
