Leduc County

The C.O.W. bus traveled to the town of Leduc and parked at Agapeland Daycare and Out of School Care. Many local families attended programming on the bus, including the local daycare. The Legacy Library was presented to the County of Leduc F.C.S.S. and the books will be split between the Leduc Public Library and the F.C.S.S. Lending Library.

The next day the C.O.W. Bus arrived in Calmar and parked outside the Old Scouts Hall. Despite some cold and rainy weather, several families stopped by to check out the bus. The Legacy Library was presented to the County of Leduc FCSS and will be available to the community through the Calmar Library.


In the afternoon, the C.O.W. Bus traveled to the Thorsby Recreation Centre. Several groups of preschool children and their parents kept the bus hopping, sharing stories, puzzles, and games, and getting ideas for homemade literacy activities in the process. The Legacy Library was presented to the County of Leduc FCSS and will be shared among the Thorsby Public Library and the Warburg Moms and Tots group.


On Thursday we visited the town of New Sarepta and parked at the Agriplex. We had visits from the local preschool and kindergarten as well as families in the community. The Legacy Library was presented to the County of Leduc F.C.S.S. and the books will be available at the New Sarepta Public Library.


The C.O.W. bus also visited the town of Devon on Thursay and parked at the Devon Public Library. Many families visited the bus and well as the local daycare. The Legacy Library was presented to the community and the books will be kept at the Devon Public Library.
