The C.O.W. bus spent a week in the community of Taber. The visit was spearheaded by Taber and District CALC in partnership with Barrens, Eureka, Warner FCSS and the Public Library. In spite of the cold wintry weather, families came out to enjoy the activities that were planned.
A family fun day offered activities for parents and children to participate in together. A face paint recipe was available for families to make and then use. There were some great clown faces on the children! Children could also make cow puppets or play the many games set up by Parent Link and FCSS.
Following the Legacy Library presentation to the Mayor, cake was served. The Legacy Library will be shared between the Public Library, FCSS and CALC.
What great community support the events in Taber had. Thanks to everyone involved in making this visit possible.
