On February 16 the C.O.W. bus headed off for Onoway in a winter blizzard. Once we arrived, the excitement in the community warmed everyone on the bus. As with our last visit to Onoway in 2005, it was obvious that this is a town that works together.
The event began with the Legacy Library presentation and a guest storyteller. The mayor was on hand to accept the box of books, which will be housed in the public library.
All the events took place in the community hall. Hot lunches were sold at the concession and many agencies were on hand to promote local services for families with young children. What a super day everyone had.
Thanks to everyone involved in this wonderful day!
