Past Programs & Projects

Lacombe and Ponoca

The C.O.W bus traveled to the town of Lacombe for three hours of programming at the Nelson Parent Link Centre. The staff at the Parent Link did a great job of promoting the C.O.W. bus visit and our programming was very well attended.  The Legacy Library presentation was well attended by community members, and the Mayor of Lacombe, Judy Gordan accepted the library on behalf of the community.

The C.O.W. bus then traveled to the town of Ponoka for two hours of programming at the Ponoka Jubilee Library. The Ponoka Parent Link Coordinator had activities and snacks for the families inside the library and held a draw for books and two free library memberships. The C.O.W. bus programming was well attended by local families. The Legacy Library was presented to the Mayor of Ponoka, Larry Henkelman. The books will be housed at the Ponoka Jubilee Library.
