On October 10 the C.O.W. bus left Edmonton to begin our trip to northern Alberta. The bus visited the communities of Dixonville, Paddle Prairie, Rainbow Lake, La Crete, Fort Vermilion, Rocky Lane, and High Level. It was quite a journey and we had hundreds of people visit the bus.
Parents were delighted to learn new ways of interacting with their children and to just have fun. The presentation of the Legacy Library is always a very special event and we know the books will be put to good use in supporting family literacy programs in the community.
We look forward to a return visit as there are many more communities that we would love to see.
Thanks to everyone involved in planning the C.O.W. bus visit to northern Alberta.
