High Prairie

The C.O.W. bus was invited to visit High Prairie by the Literacy Organization and was hosted at the High Prairie Library. The bus parked at the library on June 14th and 15th. The staff was able to promote the upcoming Summer Reading Program being offered at the library. Many children were excited to hear that the theme this summer is ‘Super Heroes’.

We were visited by many families from the regular Library Storytime group and by parents and siblings of the children enrolled in the Nursery school program at the Children’s Resource Centre.

The Legacy Library was presented to a member of Town Council and will be housed in the library, for everyone to enjoy.

What parents and participants have said about the program

"Loved all the variety of resources to make reading and learning more interesting, especially the 3 Little Pigs Glove Puppet.

“All the material was presented in an organized way. It wasn’t too overwhelming."
