The Alberta Prairie C.O.W. bus got to travel through the beautiful fall colours up to the Grande Prairie region.
The first day found the bus parked by the library in Beaverlodge from 10-4. It was great to see the variety of groups that participated. The Story Time group came to visit in the morning and in the afternoon we had a visit from participants in the “Babies’ Best Start Moms” program. Many other individuals also came to see us.
On Wednesday, the bus parked by the Grande Prairie library. All 3 Legacy Libraries were presented in the evening; a legacy of 50 books was given to each community. The bus made the “news” through both the radio and TV.
The last day of the visit was spent at Sexsmith in front of the library. People who had missed the bus in Grande Prairie drove out to Sexsmith to get a chance to see it.
Thanks to everyone involved in planning the C.O.W. bus visit.
