On August 11, 2006 the C.O.W. bus drove to Blue Ridge, a small town of approximately 250 people. The dynamic librarian in this community planned an evening that truly was a community event. The Woodlands County Historical Society prepared a community BBQ that drew a large number of people from the local community. The hamburgers and cake were very tasty!
Over the course of the afternoon and evening the families participated in the mini golf course set up outside as well as a variety of other entertaining activities. Each child that came out for the event received a book to take home.
Thanks to everyone involved in planning this great event. We had a wonderful time!
