An Evening of Wine and Words

Beginning in 2008 An Evening of Wine and Words has become the Centre for Family Literacy’s premier fundraising event.

We are pleased to have the commitment of Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo who has come on board each year as guest speaker and performer. With him, Jim Cuddy has brought a special guest artist to share their passion for writing and music with those in attendance.

Hosted at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald in the Empire Ballroom we are able to set an intimacy that is the hallmark of the evening. The annual event promises great food, fine wine, and heart-felt stories and songs that deliver the profound meaning of words.

Over the years the funds raised have supported the Centre’s family literacy programs including:

• Books for Babies
